Comment:
After my beloved excellent other brand mixer finally gave up, since I didn't find an equivalent at the local stores, I tried this one. It was fine at Xmas when I baked Xmas cookies, but recently used it with recipes that started with liquids (i.e.'instant' desserts)and it spattered over my whole counter area. I've had several mixers over decades and never had this problem with any of them. Also, it's slow speed is not at all slow!

Too much speed

Pros
Stores Well
Cons
Splatters Mix All Over
Best Uses
Comment:
Even at the lowest speed - it's just too fast and throws even heavier cookie dough all over. It's too hard to control while mixing. Really throws dry mixture & creaming mixture all over the kitchen.
How long have you owned it:
A month or less
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Plastic sprockets wear out quickly...

Pros
Even Mixing
Works Quietly
Cons
Not durable
Best Uses

Comment:
The threaded drive shaft powers the beaters by turning two plastic sprockets. The teeth on these sprockets wore out after a year of normal usage.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
