Comment:

Product reliability has been very poor. Bought new 2 1/2 years ago and since then we've replaced control board, power inverter board, sensors, thermistors, and most recently a compressor- a total of over $1100 in repairs on this expensive unit.

Purchased this exact model in January 2012. Icemaker and freezer stopped working on month later (2/12). [@]had to order a part having to do with freon. Part installed. Freezer and icemaker stopped working again one month later (3/12). Sears repair man returned. He advised me to demand either a refund or a replacement. I lost both freezers full of food. Hard to find a good counter-depth refrig. Lots of complaints online about various models, and consumer reports doesn't highly recommend any of them either.

Comment:

Ice maker capacity is limited and slow. Have replaced ice maker twice and main PCB once. Samsung not any help and repair shops were not very enthusiastic to repair it because of past experiences with this brand. I ended up repairing it myself.
