Comment:
When the fridge was delivered I was told not to adjust the temperature for a week--I haven't touched the temp and have had no problems. I deliberately selected a fridge without an ice/water dispenser on the door--everything I have read sounds like that is the kiss of death for a refrigerator! Hopefully this one will be a workhorse for many years!

Comment:
After reviewing comments about a number of top-CU-rated units, I concluded 1) current production refrigerators probably won't be as long-lived as previous less efficient refrigerators, 2) ice makers are not only unreliable, but introduce an additional risk of structure damage because they are connected to a water supply subject to leakage (I'm leaving it disconnected), 3) CU has conducted extensive objective testing and derived ratings based thereon, while user reviews are often too subjective to be usable for decision-making. I decided on this model because of its high rating, its efficiency, and the absence of door dispensers. I am satisfied with the purchase.

Comment:
The refrigerator and freezer hold 2-weeks worth of groceries for me (single) with plenty of room left over. The temperature is easy to set and remains constant. The adjustable shelves in the fridge and movable divider in the freezer make it easy to arrange and rearrange things just as you like and the deep shelves on the fridge doors are convenient too. I'm also a big fan of the bright lighting in both the fridge and freezer sections.

I don't have the icemaker connected so I can comment on its performance. The refrigerator is very quiet except for the occasional clunk when defrosting, but that is infrequent and not objectionably loud. After 1-1/2 years it has been completely trouble-free.
