Comment:
This unit has been a disapointment from day one. The ice maker has had multiple repairs and still does not function. There is a door flap that opens when you get ice and ours does not close after ice dispensing and therefore the ice in the compartment melts and and the freezer looses temperature. The flimsy shevles have broken in various places. Food freezes in the refrigerator and we have been on the ball with temperature adjustments. But still I get hard frozen salads in the crisper, and go to grill some chicken and have to spend a half hour defrosting it after being in my refrigerator for 2 days. The saving grace is that I spent a couple of hundred dollars for an extended warranty and it has paid off.

Comment:
This refrigerator has broken 3 times since it was purchased 9 months ago including issues with the door, leaking filter and now best of all the fans froze up due to ice build up. The repair tech has been out 3 times now and today we're told that we need to unplug the refrigerator for 48 hours so they can determine if there is ice build up in the lines. We've been without our refrigerator for 2 weeks now and it's been a circus between LG, Home Depot and the service company. This thing is a piece of defective junk and I'm sorry I bought it. Disappointed in the LG lack of quality and the run around in trying to get this fixed. Also, I attempted to post this same customer feedback to the LG site and they rejected it saying it did not meet their policy. What a surprise. Just goes to show you how they are skewing honest feedback from their customers.
