Not quite what I expected

Had this LG for a long time and discovered the door system was flawed. Even when pushed with good force it fails to seal proper and the sensor does not detect a failed seal. Even after a seal refit buy LG it still has not worked properly. The ice production is fair with size selection, crushed ice is a luxury and the water system on the door is really nice. The ice compartment must be slammed hard to close it secure. It is remarkably quiet even when compressor starts. It takes some adjustments to accomplish the correct temperature depending on ventilation around the unit. Over all I would say an attractive addition to any kitchen but not much else.

The icemaker (located in the door inside the refrigerator) constantly freezes up and won't work. I purchased an extended warranty from the store I bought it from. They have been out twice. First time, they replaced the entire ice maker and made some adjustments to the settings. 2nd time, they cleaned it. I really don't think they can fix it - it's just a bad design. The layout inside looks fine when you are looking at it empty at the store. However, there is not enough room for tall items, the space is cramped. The doors are strangly designed. You MUST close the left door before you close the right door. The water dispenser does not dispense water from the area where the ice comes out...it dispenses it from above leaving many guests covered in water. Bottom line...very expensive mistake.

It is the worst , yet most expensive fridge I've ever owned...very unhappy with it. Ok, so it's attractive, & for the $ you would think it was quality, but oh no it isn't at all! You fight to close the door, your veggies freeze, & then there is little space for tall containers.
