Comment:
This built-in unit costs a small fortune. I eventually just went out and bought another refrigerator and threw out the Sub-Zero. Nothing but problems, and always the same one. The cold tubes in the back of the refrigerator kept leaking and freezing up. Sub-Zero replaced them for nothing once, 50% off cost the second time and the 3rd time the same problem occurred I was asked how long do you expect a refrigerator to last? That's when I dumped the Sub-Zero. I've had Kenmore's that were better at 20% of the cost of Sub-Zero.. Now I know why they call this a SubZERO 'cause that's what it's worth, below Zero. Beware! Don't buy their sales talk and don't buy one.

Comment:
I bought this [$] fridge a month ago. The door on it slams shut when open half way, and just past that, slams open in the other direction. Everything inside flies around if you do not hold the door with one hand. They have sent out repair people and Subzero says I need to live with it. Seems to be a design flaw the company does not want to own up to.

A month or less

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
We have custom door panels with the Sub-Zero Handles. The Handles are solid and worth the money. We could not believe how much longer vegetables, fruit, and cheese stayed fresh. Very quiet and I wish we would have bought our Sub-Zero years ago. Love it!!
