Comment:
I have never seen a refrigerator that virtually runs all the time. The water is a joke! I use a Zero Water Pitcher that provides a device to measure contaminants, and the reading form the refrigerator filtered water was the same as water from the tap. I have a service call scheduled next week, but I am about ready to tell them to replace it entirely!

Comment:
The greatest feature for me is the water filter and outside water dispenser which proves equally helpful when I have the family over (they drink lots of water and its easy to get to without opening the fridge door). Also I dont have to purc hase bottled water now.<br />My only drawback is that this refridgerator is a bit noisier than others.

DO NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR

Cons

Comment:
The water dispenser does not dispense cold water; both doors do not open all the way so when they do, they come back and hit you; the drawers are of poor quality; the top shelf freezes everything; have called Kitchen Aid, written to them about the problems and all they do is put it in a file. They sent out a tech guy once and he said that the water dispenser wasn't made to dispense cold water. That is wrong, because our old Kitchen Aid that we replaced was amazing and DID dispense COLD water.

Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
