I purchased this on Dec. 5, 2015. It is the 2nd Breville Smart oven I have purchased. the first one started cutting off during cooking after 1 year. I finally decided to purchase another. Not a smart move. The second one does the exact same thing and started after one month. This morning it just completely died! I have researched and found there is some problem with a fuse -Breville has to know about this problem if it is being written about - and I have had two. I use this type of counter top oven every day - both for toast and for cooking. Prior to Breville i had a Cuisinart that lasted several years.

Nice, smaller unit fits well on the counter. Bought specifically as a toaster and small oven. As a toaster, this unit fails. Elements in oven are too far apart and one side of bread doesn't toast at all. It's quite fine as a small oven. Now, after 18 months or so and light to moderate use, the top elements don't work at all. Our Breville panini maker also broke down after 3 years of light use. We are willing to pay more for quality. We pay more for Breville, but the quality isn't there. We will not be purchasing Breville in the future.
