First, the thing would never heat up. It's about 100 degrees too low, which I checked with an oven thermometer. A 350 setting yields 250. Even when set to 500/Broil, it never got over 325 - and it took forever to do that! (Reviews on other web sites have the same complaint.)

But even if it worked I still would have returned it. The big dials are easy to use, but they also obscure the tiny settings beneath. You have to stoop down to countertop level to read the numbers, and you may need to borrow some reading glasses. The stainless cabinet makes it even more difficult. I tried using a flashlight, but the background reflection just made it worse.

I returned it and got a Black and Decker TO1675W. It's not as large, but it works like a charm. The white cabinet and high-contrast numbers around the top and sides of the knobs allow you to easily see them while standing up. Bonus: It was $20 cheaper.
////

This toaster oven burns more than it toasts. It didn't matter where the rack was set. The timer ticks too loud. There are too many dials. you have to turn 2 dials just to make toast. My kids couldn't figure it out to make breakfast. It is going back to the store. I miss my old B&D toaster oven.
