Comment:
I almost never use my regular oven now. I am a casual cook, therefore this oven can cook anything that I need, from whole chicken to biscuits. It heats up fast, as a result you do not heat your whole house during the summer months.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Burned by a Toaster Oven

Comment:
It seemed like the ideal replacement for our old toaster oven: not only is it a CR Best Buy, but it has a convection oven and the price was reasonable.

But when it arrived it gave me pause. This oven is enormous, way bigger than any toaster oven I've ever seen before; it was a struggle to fit it on our small (NYC apartment-sized) countertop.

Then, after only a month or so of light to medium use (mostly toast and frozen pizzas), the door hinge broke.

I'd love to exchange it but I bought it online from walmart.com and already disposed of the packing materials (as I said, we live in a NYC apartment and this oven --and therefore the box it came in-- is huge), but according to their site, packing materials are a prerequisite for a return or exchange.

Now what do I do?

Wouldn't have thought I'd ever get burned by a CR Best Buy recommendation.
How long have you owned it:
One-to-three months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
