Comment:
The digital control pad quit after less than 1 year's use.And that's the problem with any gizmo that becomes more technically complex that is really needed. Electronics are always unpredictable and prone to temperemental behaviour. We will be tossing this for a simpler, dial machine.

This toaster oven has been one of the best purchases I've made for kitchen uses. I use it more than any other appliance. I use it to make toast (I never have any problem getting either a very light toast or a nice dark toast), roast chicken, bake potatoes... pretty much anything you'd do in a regular oven only smaller.

I find that cooking times are much less (usually at least 10 minutes shorter cooking time), the toaster oven takes a lot less time to preheat, and it cooks evenly.

It did take me a few times of using it to get used to how it cooks - you have to shorten your cooking time or things will over cook, you have to put your toast on the top rack, or it will burn the bottom, and a few other things like that.

But I've had this for about a year now, and it is awesome. The only draw back is that it is hard to clean. That seems to be pretty typical of toaster ovens, though. And it does get hot on the outside, so you have to be aware of that - but it still uses a lot less energy that a large oven.

It is a nice big toaster oven, will fit a whole frozen pizza, a turkey breast, or a typical size chicken. I am so happy with this purchase, I am very surprised at the low ratings others have given it.

Comment:
Toaster is fine but not as quick as an ole fashion pop up toaster. Love this toaster oven. Had others with dials and after a while the dials become inacurate for time and temp. Love the digital features and touch controls. Use the convection oven feature to roast vegetables and bake potatoes. Fun and easy.....
