Comment:
Nice, smaller unit fits well on the counter. Bought specifically as a toaster and small oven. As a toaster, this unit fails. Elements in oven are too far apart and one side of bread doesn't toast at all. It's quite fine as a small oven. Now, after 18 months or so and light to moderate use, the top elements don't work at all. Our Breville panini maker also broke down after 3 years of light use. We are willing to pay more for quality. We pay more for Breville, but the quality isn't there. We will not be purchasing Breville in the future.

While it far surpasses previous toaster purchases where it excels is everyday cooking. This toaster oven is large enough for almost every day to day cooking task. Because of the enormity of the internal volume and the convection you can even cook a 9x9 square cake with there being no uneven cooking, inside or surface browning.

Because of this it is a great energy saver. This little oven runs on a normal 120V 15A circuit. It heats faster, convection cooks identically 25F cooler and doesn't have to warm up as much physical metal in the oven walls. It uses MUCH less energy and you won't be using your big oven very often at all. You won't throw out your big oven but you'll notice its lack of use on your electricity bill.

Additionally: if you remove the idjit clips for rack retention (or got the 1st edition that came without them) the smaller USA Pan brand cookie sheets slot perfectly in the toaster's grid slots.
