It is excellent Oven, the only problem is the outside temp of the unit gets very hot, keep plenty of room around the unit.

When the unit is on Broil - HI, the top heating elements cycle on and off causing the broiling time to be much longer than with our older (and cheaper) toaster oven where the top elements remained on constinuously. Is this is a feature or a malfunction? If it is a feature, can it be disabled? <br /><br />Other than that hiccup, my wife and I love the Breville Smart Oven. I hope there is a solution.
