Purchased the first Bella Dots Collection Toaster from Sams Club along with the matching coffee maker. After approximately two months, the knob that pushes the bread holders down would not stay down. Therefore, you could not use the toaster unless you stood there and held the knob down while the bread toasted.
Was able to return to Sams for a refund as they no longer carried these appliances, so could not exchange which is what I preferred to do since I was still using the coffee maker and wanted matching appliances.
Found another toaster, exactly the same model and color as what I had purchased and returned to Sams, at Amazon.com. So I purchased this one.
Less than a month of usage and this second toaster did exactly what the first one did--the knob would not hold in the lowered position. Additionally, I noticed that the middle sets of elements on each side of the inside of the toaster were not heating up.
I called Sensio, Inc. in Canada, the manufacturer of this toaster. I was told I could cut the end of the electric cord off of the toaster and return that along with the silver info sticker from the bottom of the toaster and my original receipt for a replacement-no refund from them. I don't want another replacement. Of course I would have to pay shipping and handling expenses to return these things.
I contacted Amazon but they want the entire toaster returned in the original box (which I no longer have)and again I must pay to return.
So I am stuck with a non-working toaster AGAIN.
This toaster was about $30.00. Not expensive but not worth the money for less than two months the first toaster and less than a month the second one.
Don't believe that these toasters should be on the market since they clearly have serious flaws.
