Latch assembly is cheaply made
Worked Good For 15 Months
Cheap Latch Assembly
No Replacement Parts
Best Uses
After 15 months the toaster latch seemed loose and the toast would not stay down. I took the toaster apart to try and fix it. I found that the metal latch handle clips into a piece of cheap plastic which was cracked (apparently from repeated use). The part appears to be easy to replace, but unfortunately I could not find any parts available online (other than the crumb tray).

Uneven Toasting
Easy To Clean
Doesn't Heat Evenly
Best Uses
I mainly use this to make toast in the morning. Occasionally, I use the defrost feature to defrost frozen slices of bread. It is easy to use the dial setting. My main complaint is that it does not brown the bread evenly. One side will come out dark brown while the other side is not brown at all.

Very poor quality
Imprecise Controls
Best Uses
After getting this toaster home, I set the browning control to about 3.5 on the scale of 1-6. The toast was charred almost to the point of smoke. At a setting of 2, the toast was still a bit dark for my tasts. I had to lower the setting to about 1.5 to get the toast how I wanted it. The control is very imprecise and is difficult to work properly. Wish I hadn't bought it. Hope it breaks soon.
