Comment:
I usually can depend on Kenmore however on this one I was quite disappointed.
It didn't dry my clothes throughly on the cycles recommended. My dryer sheet would get stuck in the bottom part of the lint collector.
I had to actually return the dryer because where the seam of the drum was sealed, there was a piece of metal sticking up & it was picking & snagging my clothes, actually ruining some of them.

DOES NOT DRY CLOTHERS. TECHNICIAN SAYS IT IS DOING WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO. BLAMES LENGTH OF EXHAUST ON PROBLEM. WE LIVE IN A CONDO. I BELIEVE THE SENSOR IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER KENMORE PRODUCT. EVEN WHEN RECOMMENDED BY CONSUMER REPORTS.

Comment:
I bought this dryer to match the washer. I like the dryer. With my old Kenmore it took about 60 minutes to dry a good size load. Since the washer spins
most of the water from the clothes the dryer runs about 20 to 30 minutes to dry most clothes. 40 minutes for bulky bedding and towels. The moisture sensor works well. Normal dry setting drys jeans in about 30 minutes on medium heat. Overall I do like the dryer very much. Kenmore tried to make the washer and dryer stylish by curving the top of their machines. If you use the dryer to put a laundry basket, detergent or anything else on.....forget it with this machine. You can glue a magnet to your laundry basket if you want it to stay on the machine.
