Comment:
I purchased the matching set. It is really important to read the instructions! Used the steam option and it worked great. Have had no problems with either machine. Only thing I would change is the cute little tune it plays when the cycle is finished. It is sweet, but not loud enough.

Comment:
I have been living with a 20 year old dryer that eventually could only handle very small loads or the clothes would wrinkle. I'd only put a few items in and a wet tea towel and the clothes would be fine.

Now I'm living with a brand new dryer that consistently has the same problems, except I paid $1000+ for it, and even a wet tea towel doesn't get the wrinkles out.

The clothes come out of the washer in good condition as far as wrinkling is concerned; but the dryer does a number on them. It doesn't matter what cycle, what temperature (when I can adjust it), steam or no steam, time, or to a certain degree load size. The clothes are wrinkled.

I've been advised that I should only dry shirts with shirts; pants with pants; etc. I've been advised to only wash and transfer loads that are equivalent to a little less than half the washer drum size (WHAT?); and I'm down to drying four men's dress shirts, for instance, for my no-iron shirts to come out no iron. And even these are marginal.

Phone conversations with LG shed little light on the subject. A visit by an LG representative was only an assurance that the dryer was working correctly. (Thanks for that!)

I've battled this for two months now and I'm tired of washing and drying clothes becoming my life's work. I'm returning this product (if I still can).
