The heating unit and/or thermostat broke after 2 weeks. We had the entire dryer replaced and it is starting to act up like the other one did and it is only 2 months old. The capacity is great but the dryer tends to ball up bedding so you get a giant damp ball to unwind. You have to battle this by having the right proportions of types and sizes of items in the dryer. The lint screen is a real pain to open for cleaning. It comes in and out easy enough but it has an enclosed cage style that needs to be opened in order to clean. It is hard to do without hurting your finger. I would stay away from this dryer. Particularly for the price.

For everyday clothing, the dryer seems to work fine. I find it odd though that this dryer seems to push all the clothes against the glass door so many times the clothes are laying on top of the dryer vent until the drum movement tumbles them again. Also, dryer sheets almost always get caught under the lip of the drum vent, even though it is a practiclaly flush against the inside drum. Here is my biggest frustration with this dryer: the baffles in the dryer cause sheets to ball up tightly and tumble as one mass of fabric EVERY time - AND I am using the Bedding Plus cycle. I end up putting several thick bath towels in the drum with the sheets to keep the sheets from becoming a giant damp ball that literally just thumps around in the dryer drum like a brick (this can literally be heard all over the house). It can take a few hours of pausing the dryer, unraveling and untangling the ball of sheets, restarting the dryer and repeating this process many times during the cycle. I am only putting one set of king sheets (top sheet, fitted sheet, two pillow cases) in the drum so I am clearly not overloading the dryer. This is really unacceptable for a top of the line [$] dryer. Any suggestions?

We are a family of 4 washing and drying 4-5 loads per week. Unit has already broken down with timer not working and dryer running until you stop or open door. Thought this unit was one of the best out there but with repairs needed at 4 months not sure I would recommend. Like the size and options though. Will have to update after repair ( under warranty ) to see if unit is durable and/or reliable.
