Great until it breaks down
Easy To Use
Slow Warranty Repairs
We specifically ordered this model because of it's smart appliance features (internet connectivity, text and/or e-mail alerts when the cycle is complete, etc.). Unfortunately, Whirlpool seems to have pushed this product out the door before it was ready. <br /><br />The Dryer worked great for about a month, then lost wireless connectivity. After lots of troubleshooting to make sure it wasn't our network, we called Whirlpool to set up a service call, which they couldn't schedule for a week. Then, the day before the service call is scheduled, the rep calls me and says, I'll be glad to come out there and look at it, but I have no idea how that thing works. I've never even seen it before. I ask him to come on anyway, and after he gets there the next day, he told me he had contacted his regional supervisor about the dryer model, and was told, I didn't even know those were on sale yet.<br /><br />Needless to say, he couldn't do anything helpful to repair the wireless connectivity problem. So, we carry on without internet connectivity for another 3 weeks, and then the dryer simply goes dark. Won't turn on at all... no power. We call Whirlpool again to set up a service call, and they can't schedule anything for two full weeks! I'm still waiting on that visit, which is scheduled for a week from now. I'm very disappointed in this horrible service.<br /><br />Besides the fact that Whirlpool apparently can't provide timely warranty support for this product, the fact that I've had two major problems with the unit in the first 2 months of my ownership doesn't bode well for its longevity. I would not recommend this product until they've shaken the bugs out.
