We purchased our first DV520AGP/XAA for our previous home. The unit powering the drum failed after a few months of use. After several attempted fixes, Samsung agreed to supply a brand new dryer and remove the old. I sold the replacement dryer with the house.<br /><br />Upon moving into our new house, my wife chose to try another DV520AGP/XAA. We bought the second unit two (2) months ago. Three days ago, the unit failed to heat at all. Having had a repair service (reported as Samsung authorized, later turned out not to be) assess the issue, we know the sensor for flame / heat and the control board need to be replaced. Samsung will not allow the service company to proceed. The first two (2) alternate repair services, offered by Samsung, both replied that they will not work on Samsung appliances. Following up with Samsung, I'm now waiting two (2) business days for another potential repair service to be recommended. The way it looks now, I'll be weeks with no dryer.<br /><br />The size and cycles are great, WHEN IT WORKS.<br /><br />Think twice before committing your money to this unit. My experience is nothing but bad. I will NOT buy anything else made by Samsung.

Comment:
I put everything in this dryer (not at the same time of course), from delicates to the heavy bathroom area rug. It all fits and it dries everything perfectly, including mixed loads. My only problem is my king size sheets or a blanket because it tends to ball up requiring stopping the cycle and pulling things apart. Other than that, I can't say enough about the sensor that stops the drying and starts the cooling eliminating every single wrinkle. I have the dryer and matching washer on the second floor with virtually no vibration.
