Contains bleach Based on the package ingredients list and other package claims, some detergents include bleach in their formulas. While the presence of bleach has not seemed to act on the baked-on soils in our tests, it might help with tea or similar stains.
Contains enzymes Based on the package ingredients list and other package claims, most tested detergents have enzymes, which can break up food for easier removal.
Contrary to CR's rating and other reviews, this product works better for me than any other dishwashing product I have tried, including the highly rated action packs.

Does not work
Blackend Pots Pans
Leaves Food On Dishes
This is a dramatically BAD product which the company obviously formulated and continues to sell knowing in advance that it no longer lived up to its previous reputation as an effective dishwashing cleaning agent. Quietly reformulated due to some regional requirements which created the lowest common denominator of dishwashing soap for all of us, they will tell you on the phone that they could not formulate the product for distribution to one area different than another, so we are all subjected to the delivery of an inferior low quality product (even though there are many examples of businesses that provide distribution of varied products by region). For a while they marketed an additive called Glass Magic which made the product work again, but they have now taken that off the market, and replaced it with a 'booster' which fundamentally fails to deliver. Black pots and pans, food pieces stuck on dishes and flatware – now, Finish dishwashing agents are just a worthless product. Do your research on the web, and steer clear of the consumer level product. If we stop buying inferior products, maybe they will be motivated to formulate a product that will work. And if some region want inferior products, then let them live with it. Stop buying this product until they formulate a product that works.
