Everything tastes like soap
3/26/2014
Pros
Cleans Well
Cost Compared To Cascade
Cons
Strong Soapy Smell
Best Uses
Comment:
I picked up a double pack because Costco was out of Cascade. I used it and it seemed to clean as well as the liquid Cascade, but then I noticed the strong soapy smell that others have noticed.

I cannot stand it, especially on my coffee mug. It's more pronounced on plastic, but it definitely ruins the taste of food. I will be returning it and going back to Cascade, even though it costs more.

Ruining Your Dishes
Comment:
We started buying this before it was changed and once we started using the new stuff, my wife noticed an instant change. It made our dishes smell like perfume and our food taste like it. It has ruined our tupperware and our dishwasher.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible

Pros
Cons
Leaves soap residue
Best Uses
Comment:
Even after re-cleaning and re-rinsing dishes, the soapy, perfumey residue is still there. It ruins food, especially soups, chilis and coffee, that absorb the soap.
How long have you owned it:
Three-to-six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
