The new 2X concentrated formulation provides the same number of loads in a more compact bottle. Tide also makes a wide variety of different detergents for specific uses: HE, Coldwater, Totalcare, Tide With a Touch of Downy, and Tide Ultra with Dawn Stainscrubbers are just a few formulas.

Comment:
After using these for a few loads, I started noticing dried on crusty, patchy deposits on my clothes. Investigation leads me to conclude that it is the remains of the plastic pod that the product is packaged in. I use it according the directions, pod first, then add clothes. My washer spins the clothes to determine load size prior to adding water and this may be moving the pod out of the bottom of the washer. I don't think the pod is completely dissolving and the pod remains get baked on in the dryer. Yes, they wash out, but who wants to have to rewash items? CU, this should be investigated. A quick glance at the Tide website shows several similar complaints.
