When I bought my HE machines at least 10-12 years ago, I purchased this detergent. I never knew my clothes were not getting clean until these machines and this detergent. Sears is not close to me and so over the years, if I ran out of detergent, I would settle for Tide. But using Tide would give me the energy to drive back to Sears to get more of their Ultra Plus detergent because my clothes would never clean up as well with anything else. This is the BEST stuff. My only complaint is the weight of the box. It comes in such a large size and I buy 4 boxes at a time--the purchase is quite a workout. But I'll keep at it.

Comment:
We decided to try this detergent based on its Consumer Reports rating. We have had trouble getting odors out of my undershirts and shirts, and we felt a powder might work better than a liquid. The Sears detergent did just what we wanted. It also has gotten out most of the stains we have tried it on. It haw replaced our other brands as a result
