All-temp steam Digital iron DS6000

Comment:
My Black&Decker All Temp Steam Digital Iron DS6000 DIED after one year, just a few days after the warranty expired. Simply the digital control will not turn on: completely dead.

It did not meet my expectation in terms of quality: I expect the lifeterm of an iron to be way over one year: this is simply irresponsible. Of course I will never buy this brand again: iron steam or other products.

Comment:
I spend about 2-3 hours per week ironing my dress shirts for work. My shirts are custom tailored and cost an average of $225.00 per shirt. I've owned all different types of irons (Rowenta,Singer, etc) and they all die eventually. But this is the first one that scorched one of my dress shirts on it's way to iron cemetery. Apparently the internal thermostat malfunctioned causing the temperature on the soleplate to rise and thereby burn my shirt. Black and Decker should probably resign themselves to just making mechanical tools!

I hand a rowenta iron and it did a poor job of getting rid of wrinkles. I did some reseach on irons decided on the Black & Decker D6000 and I have not been disapointed at all with this iron in fact I love it so much I would recommend it to everyone!
