Comment:
The iron does a nice enough job but it's really bulky and heavy. The burst of steam is more than adequate. The cord and handle rest designed poorly - the iron fell over twice and put a dent in my hardwood floor.

Comment:
I bought this primarily because of the titanium and ceramic sole plate, both very corrosive resistant materials. The last iron I had was a cheap little black and decker that chugged along for about 15 years. The sole plate eventually corroded to the point that I could not clean it anymore, and it started leaving stains on the clothing if I used the steam function, so time for a new iron.

I've had the DeLohghi for about two weeks, and so far so good, but nothing earth shattering. In 15 years if there is no corrosion on the sole plate, I will come back and change the rating to five star :-) It does come with a three year warranty, which is pretty impressive. One of the features I really enjoy is the hinged cap with a rubber plug that shuts down and keeps the water from escaping.

You can not only adjust the amount of steam that comes out of the iron, but you can also adjust the temperature of the steam. That's new to me. It's pretty cool looking too, I mean, for an iron. That's all I got.
