Terrible Iron DO NOT Buy!

Comment:
I have had this iron for just over a year and it has stopped working. After turning the iron on, I start to iron, put it on the ironing board while I move the shirt and it is turned off. This iron is really heavy and very difficult to move around. It does have a 3 year warranty so now I must locate the receipt and return it to Sears. Do yourself a favor and find another iron!

I ordered this online. It did not work from the moment I plugged it in. It did not steam at all and the spray did not work. I have returned it. Sears did not make the return process easy. I could not get it replaced - I had to ship it back and place another order. I will purchase a different iron.

Comment:
The iron has nice weight, but it does not steam when you push the button for steam. You have to pick the iron up to get some steam. I am very surprised CR gave this iron a top rating. I recently renewed my subscription because I am looking for a new car. I need a new iron and thought I would check out CR's recommendations. This iron is a very poor iron; it does not perform well and I am shocked at the rating. I am questioning my subscription and trust in CR reviews.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
