It's too bad, but this is the WORST Iron I have ever owned. I was very excited to own another Sunbeam, as the one I had prior to this purchase was about 20 years old. But it was reliable until the very end. This iron is horrible; it unevenly heats and it LEAKS from the top of the dial and runs down the handle, causing water spots on the ironing board itself, as well as water spots on the clothing. I may NEVER buy another Sunbeam iron.
