Comment:
We purchased this iron based upon Consumer Reports, which usually steers us correctly, but not this time. This iron has been used daily for only a couple of shirts at a time. Worked fine at first but after a month or so it failed us. It leaks large patches of water from the soleplate at times. It leaks water from the fill lid, spewing from the tiny breather hole, even when the iron is upright. It only steams when the temp dial is set at maximum. It only steams when the fill lid is OPEN, as if there is a vacuum seal keeping the water from flowing. It makes a loud metalic klank sound when temp is reached if the temp dial is set lower than maximum. I've cleaned it, soaked the anti-scale in vinegar per instructions, etc. I'll try to do a warranty return but I'm not sure I want another one of these.

At first I thought this was the perfect iron, then I used it several times. The iron leaks from both the front and back. The steam works good for a while then stops without warning. The temp dial has to be almost at maximum temp for the steam to work at all. It is now dropping globs of water all over my clothes while ironing. This is undoubtedly the worst iron I have ever used. I have just ironed my last article of clothing using this iron, it is going in the garbage! It states that it has an extra long cord which is true but, it is not smooth and does not slide across the ironing board easily. This is such a terrible iron I will not give it to another person to use. Trash!
