I iron clothes & items as I need them. Great heat & steam. Settings good. Starting leaking 6 months after purchase. That's why I rated it as a 3 star.

Comment:
I was so impressed with the T-FAL 4495 I went back to Walmart and bought the 4476 for the bedroom. At $35 it's the best value in irons by far. It's a 1700 watt iron that produces plenty of heat and steam for whatever you throw at it. So far I haven't had any leaking or spitting issues with my iron. My only complaint, besides the no off switch, is that the ceramic soleplate is draggy on damp cotton and linen when ironing at high heat. I never had that issue with stainless steel. Buy this iron.
