Cons

Comment:
I bought one Shark Mop and loved it, but it stopped steaming after I had it for a little over a year. I thought I had done something wrong so I purchased another one and had the same exact thing happen, except this time it gave off a loud - pop - and never worked again. When I called Shark Mop, they offered to replace it for half of the purchase price, plus tax and shipping - which brought it up to almost the full price I paid in the store. No thank you! I am not purchasing a third one for the exact same thing to happen. VERY frustrating to pay over $100 for a mop and it to break so easily!

Comment:
It's terrible in corners. The arm will bend when you push it a bit harder while cleaning. It pinched my finger where arm bends when I was handling it. It's cumbersome: you will have to place it on the floor while refilling it with water, otherwise you can't comfortably add water.
Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this product.
How long have you owned it:
Three-to-six months

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
The Shark I currently own is one purchased directly from Shark after complaining to them about the short life of the previous one. I followed directions and used only distilled water. Same thing happened to this one as previous one. Loud pop and suddenly stopped making steam. Not stopped up! Internal problem. I'm not willing or able to take it apart and fix it.

I had used this once a year on sealed hardwood floors. It may clean, but it leaves streaks and is dull.

Works best on ceramic, tile or vinyl floors. I think a scrub mop and scrubbing on hands and knees gets floors cleaner, but this is a bit easier.
