My steamfast mop worked fine at first. It was used very little as I have a cleaning service but it was great for spills and dog messes. The on switch on the base broke after a few months, and the company replaced the entire unit but I had to pay shipping back of the broken one. The second unit broke the same way after only a few uses. I gave up. I have extra pads if anyone wants them.

This steam mop lasted only 6 months before it didn't produce much steam; nor did it heat up. I wouldn't buy it again. The only thing that I liked was the long cord.

Used the product to clean laminate and vinyl flooring. Worked well, the cord was too short and it took quite awhile to heat. Unit broke after 1 1/2 years. We were very careful with unit and treated it well. Just isn't built to last.
