Comment:
Uses the same powerhead as their top rated canister--parts are interchangeable. It would have been helpful to include the accessory bare floor brush, available and very helpful for under $15. Adding this gave me excellent wood floor and tile coverage. I don't like the powerhead for such, and changing heads is very easy.

I own the dyson pet purple ball upright as well as their canister model with the electrically powered wand. This little machine holds less, but is superior on carpets for dirt and pet hair. I can also better get under beds and low surfaces.

It is a bit messy to empty, which can be done by flipping the bottom open or unscrewing the canister. The mess is similar to the Dyson units. No big deal if you empty into a bag held around the container, or empty outside.

The canister is easy to remove and replace on the unit.

Comment:
Have given this vacuum a try and the only good use is for carpets. It does not pick up dirt on my floor and the bagless cannister is impossible and messy to use.

Comment:
I have a smallish house with hardwood and tile floors, and one large rug in the living room. I also have multiple cats and a dog. Our old Roomba just wasn't doing the job anymore. and I really wanted something powerful enough to get the pet hair out of the carpet, but wouldn't damage our nice hardwood flooring. This vacuum does a great job on both, plus is light enough for me to maneuver one handed up the stairs while vacuuming them with the attachment. That's a big plus because I have some arthritis and couldn't manage it if it was much heavier. The rotating pet attachment was great at vacuuming the cat trees. The only cons I would add is that if you want a longer wand for your attachments, it takes a lot more maneuvering to get the attachment onto the longer wand. And it took me several minutes and studying the manual to figure out how to remove the canister from the base. Other than that, I'm pretty happy and don't dread getting out the vacuum to clean!
