When I first bought this, I figured it was just noisy because it was cheap. It works really well for getting up pet hair and really gets a lot of that deep down dust, dirt and dander in the carpet. However, after having enough of the noisiness (construction, wood-chipper like noisiness) I decided to open it up to fix whatever was making it so noisy. I pulled it apart and found grooves on one side of the brush from where it was hitting the bottom guards. Then I pulled the brush out and after examining it further, found that it was not only oblong, but also banana shaped! Simply amazing that a flaw that bad could get through any type of standard QA test. <br /><br />Still, once this ridiculous flaw is fixed, it will be very nice... until then. BOOOO!

The hinge that holds the lid to the canister flexes enough that the pins which hold the lid pop out of place and so the lid will not stay sealed. This is a significant design flaw that makes the machine useless. The machine worked great for one use but upon opening the canister to empty it the machine does not go back together. It will be returned today.

lost suction immediately, parts wont fit together to make a clean seal due to being made of very cheap plastic, short cord and compltely worthless attachment has no suction at all
