About - Shark Navigator NV22L
This bagless upright from Shark weighs in at a light 16 pounds, which is a nice feature since uprights--unlike canisters--require you to drag the entire machine back and forth over carpets and floors. The vacuum has a 31-foot,manual-wind cord, along with a full-bin indicator that marks when thebin needs to be emptied before the machine's cleaning power begins to suffer. The Shark Navigator NV22 also has a brush on/off switch for moving between carpeted and bare floors without scattering dust and debris. This model lacks an easy-to-reach power button and does not manually adjust to match your carpet's pile height. There's also no suction control, which many find helpful when cleaning delicate drapes and upholstery.

I've had this sweeper for about 18 months. I use it ALOT! It has held up exceptionally well. -With exception to the hoses, that recently cracked... but, no problem! I called the 800 number and they replaced them BOTH, no questions asked!!! How great is that! (:
A Great product. Definitely worth the money!!!

Comment:
I bought the Shark Navigator is 2011. Within a year, both hoses had cracked, resulting in a loss of suction. We contacted Shark to see if they would fix the issue. They sent us a new vacuum, after they received our old one. We had to pay shipping on it. Less than a year after receiving the new vacuum, the hoses cracked again, in the same spots. I called Euro-pro again and received the same response as last time. We send the old vacuum back, pay the shipping, and they will send us a new one. This is a complete joke. I have not used the product for anything outside of vacuuming my carpets. The hoses should not be cracking as often as they do. I will never buy another Shark product.

Comment:
This vacuum is great when you first get it, but after about 6-12 months it starts to break down quickly. Shark is good about giving replacments under warranty, but even our replacement vacuum is falling apart, and even faster and in more places than the first one.

The hoses start to crack after a few months on both vacuums. With the second vacuum, the power cord is fraying right where it meets with the vacuum itself.

While it's fairly accurate to say that the vacuum doesn't lose suction even when the cannister is full, it's not entirely true. When the hoses are cracked, it looses suction quite easily.
