Comment:
I really like how light the vacuum is. It has great suction, and does a great job picking up pet hair...even from wood floors. It also has a wider track than the Oreck.

Comment:
The Aerus Fresh Era is a very solid light weight vacuum. Have had Dirt Devil, Oreck, and a Phantom Fury in the past, None of which felt very strong, they were all plastic, very flexible, felt like they would come apart though they didn't fall right away, they did seem to get old quickly. The Aerus really shines well on carpet, especially with pet hair.
How long have you owned it:
One-to-three months
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
This is absolutely the worst product I have owned in my 60+ year. Just about every part has fallen/broken off and has been taped on to remain functional. When using the hose, the machine constantly falls over. THis week it just stopped working unless the hose is placed in a particular position. Aerus was unresponsive when questioned early on about the problems. This cost about $2,400 new so I would have expected a better life and more acceptable usability. Keep away from Aerus products.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
