Needs a brush shut off switch

Pros
Cons
Brush Throws Dirt Behind
Cannot Turn The Brush Off
Best Uses
Comment:
Because the brush cannot be turned off it throws dirt and debris behind the head instead of picking it up on hard floors. Not being able to turn off the brush also creates a problem when you want to use the attachments. The attachments work well but the brush is wearing a hole in the floor! I exchanged it for one that has a brush switch.

Comment:
Bought this unit for use upstairs (lighter duty) based on CR ratings. I can see it being a best buy as it does the job and is inexpensive. However it is very messy to empty and the release latch for the bottom of the canister has such low tension that if you bump the canister against your leg carrying it, it will dump its contents. Much of the dust stays attached to the plastic cyclones inside, requiring it to be blown out. This item was purchased so we didn't have to lug our heavy Dyson up the stairs. But since this product is so poor, we are buying a new Dyson for downstairs and sending the very old one upstairs to replace the fairly new Hoover.

A Wonderful Disappointment

Pros
Easy To Empty
Easy to Use
Lightweight
Cons
Inefficient
Short Power Cord
Best Uses

Comment:
The vacuum functions fine. I have a smaller home and the cord is not long enough to reach whole rooms. I have no children or pets, and am a very nit picky person in general. That said, the filter is clogged after each use and needs to be cleaned - a real pain. My old hoover was a better product.
