Comment:
Excellent suction, easy to use. This thing practically pulls itself forward. First time user of a Kenmore and i like it. I believe because the suction is so strong, is what makes the hose a little harder to use, but I can live with that. I like the switch to turn off the beater brush for hardwood & tile floors. I also like the suction control on the hose to reduce suction when using the attachments for drapes and things that don't require all that suction. My previous sweepers (not Kenmore) always started out good but because I couldn't buy spare parts to fix little things and had to take it to a repair shop, really ticked me off, so I quit buying them. Only time will tell with the Kenmore but I have some good vibes on this one.

Comment:
We are a family of 5 with a golden retriever. We have a mixture of hardwoods flooring and longer shag carpeting. This vacuum sucks is way across the carpet... and cleans very well. Our old shag has left again! The pet tool is pretty cool too. The suction spins the brushes, so you have to let it regain is spin periodically, but it's pretty darn good too. Night and day better than our last machine. Definitely would buy again.

Comment:
Only con is that the suction hose is too stiff and not long enough and often have to pick up the whole unit to accomplish cleaning tasks. I do not think the machine is that heavy, however my in shape 5'2 wife hates luggin it upstairs. She does not complain about how well it cleans though. It is by far the best vacuum I have owned and I am not sure who complains about it sucking too much, probably should have carpet guys come reinstall carpet properly. We will see how long it holds up but seems very sturdy and well made.
