Vacuumed with $400 Meile today before returning it back to ----- then I bought this $150 Shark Navigator
brought it home vacuumed the same area rug, Had to yell at my wife to come and see! The Meile MISSED a full cup of crud! The Meile electric cord is very short our new Shark is 25 feet long! it covered our 1200 Sq. Ft. suite! And its BAGLESS- no expensive Meile bags.
Shark you have come along way baby
Power & Quality I give Shark #1 rating.
Great Price, trust my review.

Comment:
I've owned my Shark Navigator Lift Away about 2 years. I love, love, love it. I don't use the lift-away function, I use it as a regular floor vacuum. The pet hair turbo works well on stairs and upholstery. Great for carpets and stairs. One caution- keep it clean, remove and clean the two filters as frequently as you can. And once in a while, maybe every three to six months, disconnect all hose couplings and really pull out any clogs you find- a pair of pliers may be needed. I had mine professionally cleaned, serviced, oiled by a local Vacuum Repair place, not the manufacturer. I noticed it really acted like new after I'd had the pro service it. He said, based on his experience, many people dislike the Shark and he has trouble getting replacement parts. So I haven't been back to him for a while. I take it apart myself and clean all the nooks and crannies by hand. That's my only tip to retain full power and suction.
