Insufficient water in tub to get medium and large loads clean. Cycles are too long, hot water isn't very hot. This machine is a good argument against HE top loaders, give me back my 24-year old Maytag!

We are a family of four. We get our clothes dirty, but not THAT dirty. We expect one thing above all others from a washer - it should get our clothes clean. Unfortunately, this washer doesn't do it.<br /><br />The main issue is that the water level in the washer does not reach high enough to get the clothes to circulate during the wash cycle. Unfortunately, there is no way to adjust this water level - it is all automatic for our convenience. We tried every setting. We tried running larger and smaller loads. We tried pre-soaking the clothes with a hose to make them heavier so that the washer would think that the load was bigger. This worked pretty well, but we don't find this to be an acceptable solution to the problem.<br /><br />We called a repair person to come out to make sure there wasn't an issue with our washer (or with the way we were using it). His comment was that he is frequently called out to service this exact washer, and that everyone complains about this same issue, but that there is nothing he can do about it.<br /><br />We purchased this washer less than a year ago, and have already replaced it with a washer that has more basic (and user-adjustable) settings.

Do not buy this product. As other reviewers have mentioned, it will not wash in hot water unless on sanitary or stain settings, which run long wash cycles. Even thought there's a hot selection, it will not wash in hot, which is not disclosed in the product manual. I have demanded my money back, but to no avail. Additionally, during its first month of use, it stopped working and required the reaplcement of its wireing harness. From A-Z, I have never been part of such a horrible customer experience...how they continue to rate well is beyond me.
