We've had this monitor over a year. It's only okay not great. If you get lucky and find a good channel then it works well but if not there's a lot of static and noise. Sometimes the static would wake us up at night. Battery is okay we tend to keep it plugged in the rooms we use them in. I don't like the cord on the unit that stays in my child's room. I wish that one was cordless too. Price was cheaper than most.

We got this unit as a gift for our first kid. It works okay but we have issues at least once a night with some kind of interferance on the monitor that will wake you up.
