As soon as my son outgrew his carrier, we got this seat. It was pretty easy to install and take apart to clean. The only real complaint I have is that the padding bunched up in the seat area after cleaning it a few times. This can be avoided by A)not cleaning the seat or B)stitching the seat in a few key places to keep the foam from shifting. Either way, I feel I got my money's worth.

We have two children, 3 and 1. Each has a high-end car seat which we love. But we have more than one car and we travel frequently on airplanes. This seat is great to have around. It's the lightest seat available, so it's easy to move between cars. It's also easy to lug through the airport. It's also got a large space for the seat belt to pass through, so you don't rip up your hand when you install or remove it. It's very sturdy and the harness system operates smoothly. If we were on a budget, we wouldn't hesitate to use this as a primary seat (it's 25% the price of some high-end seats) because it's safe.
