Filmsy design and hard to install

Comment:
We bought this for occasional use in my in-laws' car, and I really regret the purchase. Its very hard to install, and even when installed correctly (at least according to the manual), it feels wobbly. We haven't tried forward-facing yet, but I hope that's a little more secure feeling. The seatbelt latch feels cheap, and I don't think it would hold up to heavy use.
How long have you owned it:
Three-to-six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
We got this carseat about 6 months ago to use in our car for my grandson. After only the third use the Chest Clip would not lock and kept popping open. I was finally able to bend the plastic on the clip so it would stay shut but this is a very poor design. I question how reliable it would be in an accident. I plan to obtain a replacement part from the company but worry about this flaw.
