Just got the Graco Snugride 30 classic connect. I own a Graco snugride that's about 7 years old, along with the stroller, so I thought this would be a safe buy for a replacement. To my disappointment, the canopy gets jammed against the carrier handle in a way that never happened with the old one. It's so bad, I can't move the carrier handle from carrying to the rear position at all--even if I muscle it. The canopy bunches up and jams against the top of the seat, blocking the carrier handle. To overcome this requires a three-step process: move the handle back until it jams the canopy, give the canopy a two-handed yank under the handle, then finish moving the carrier handle back. Not the sort of thing I'd like to do when I arrive home with a sleeping baby in the seat. Though I am very satisfied with every other aspect of the product, I will return it because of this issue.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Graco Snugride 30
I received this as part of the Graco Stylus LX Travel System. It has proven to be a very dependable and easy-to-use car seat. My daughter was born at 7.1 lbs. and is now 17.8 lbs. and 29 long. We are just now having to step up to the next level. It has been a very nice seat, easy to use, and after the first time, easy to install. My husband said he had a little trouble with the initial install, but when we have taken it out and reinstalled it, it has been a breeze. It has been very easy to carry her in the seat until recently; it has been a bit heavy for me. We fit it into a 2010 Honda Civic Si (4 dr.). My husband (6'5) can't fit in front of it, but I can (5'8).
