I have had this carseat for over a year now. As of right now, my daughter is 14 months and will continue to use it until she grows out ot it (she is very small for her age and I know most babies would have grown out of this a long time ago). She was just under six pounds when she was born and we have adjusted the straps now three times. The straps work very well but they are a pain to change and you have the take the straps out when you wash it. That being said, we love this car seat. It is very easy to adjust while she is wearing different clothes and to loosen when we need to get her out. All you have to do is pull the strap. It is also easy to put in the car with or without the base. It is very comfortable for my daughter and I feel very comfortable using it and having my babysitters and parents use it without much direction.

Comment:
I love my Snugrider 35. My daughter just turned 1 year old and still fits in it perfectly. It is heavy and as she has gotten older sometimes the straps become twisted, but overall it's a great car seat. And I found it very easy to install the base in my car a mid-size and my husband's SUV.

To the parent who had a hard time with straps. I put a small magnet on the buckle and then one on the plastic under the fabric and they are strong enough to hold the buckle out of the way when I place my son in. I used Gorilla glue. I thought about doing the same for the side belts but have not gotten around to it. I thought about velcro too. Seems like a design flaw to me.
