A Good Car Seat and A Good Value
Easy to install
My wife and I have used this as our primary car seat for our newborn, and we've been very pleased. The base installation was easy and straightforward, and the car seat with baby have clicked into the base reliably - every time.

Now, about the twin-strap issue. It's true that it's not as easily adjusted as models with the single strap in front. However, in my opinion, the difficulty in adjusting these straps has been overstated in other reviews and mainly applies to loosening the harness. The straps are tightened by simply pulling the straps. However, loosening the harness requires two hands for each buckle. Practically, you will not adjust the harness in the car - but before. With forethought, it's not that big of a deal to loosen the straps before putting the baby in the seat, and tighten, with baby inside, before carrying seat and baby to the car.

I've also seen complaints about the car seat weight, but if you review the specs, it's one of the lighter seats in this class, and we've appreciated it's light weight.

Bottom line: If the harness situation is untenable for you, choose a different (probably costlier) model. If you want a low-cost, high value safe car seat; consider the Snugride.
