About - Britax B-Agile

The Britax B-Agile is part of the stroller test program at Consumer Reports. In our lab tests, traditional stroller models like the B-Agile are rated on multiple criteria, such as those listed below.

Ease of use:
Ease of use is based primarily on ease of using and adjusting the safety harness, folding and unfolding, adjusting backrest, lifting and carrying, engaging wheel brakes and car seat removal and installation (only for compatible strollers).

Maneuverability:
Maneuverability is assessed by trained staffers on how well the strollers maneuvered S-turns through cones, narrow sections, grass, dirt trails, uphill, downhill and curbs while walking.

Safety:
Safety is assessed by testing for compliance with the most current version of the standard, ASTM F833-11, and stability and usage tests designed by Consumers Union.

Comment:
It was either this or the City Mini and I found the Britax on sale for the same price as the City Mini. Since Britax is a higher end product, I got it.

It handles very well in the City of San Francisco that has very uneven pavement, jumps off the curb with ease (with toddler buckled in, of course!), and isn't too bad with one-handed steering. It can handle the bumps in the road pretty easily. Easy to fold, light weight, and pops open easily - don't worry, it has a button to press so you couldn't accidentally fold it when you pull the strap. The canopy has 3 segments and covers more than other strollers that I've checked out.

My 14 month old daughter took some time to get used to the big girl stroller because we used the Snap & Go which was her carseat. The straps for height adjustments are easy to adjust at the back. The part that I don't like is the plastic buckling. It feels really cheap for such an expensive stroller and doesn't glide in as easily. Overall, I am very happy with the stroller!
How long have you owned it:
Three-to-six months
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
