The Mamas and Papas Sola is part of the stroller
test program at Consumer Reports. In our lab tests, traditional stroller
models like the Sola are rated on multiple criteria, such as those listed below.
Ease of use:
Ease of use is based primarily on ease of using and adjusting the safety harness, folding and unfolding, adjusting backrest, lifting and carrying, engaging wheel brakes and car seat removal and installation (only for compatible strollers).
Maneuverability is assessed by trained testers, taking into account how well the strollers maneuvered S-turns through cones, narrow sections, grass, dirt trails, uphill, downhill and curbs while walking.
Safety is assessed by testing for compliance with the most current version of the standard, ASTM F833-13b, and stability and braking and other tests designed by Consumers Union.

Features & Specs - Mamas and Papas Sola
5-pt harness Five-point harness secures child firmly. Unlike a three-point harness, it secures the upper body.
Suitable for 6 mos. and under Suitability for babies 6 months and younger means the stroller may have a seat that reclines to nearly flat. It may include a safety flap at the child's feet so, if not harnessed, he can't slip or wiggle out of the seat. Even with this added feature, the harness should always be used.
Suitable for 6 mos. and under
One-touch brakes One-touch brakes are more convenient than standard brakes. Arguably still more convenient - and certainly more friendly to moms wearing open-toe shoes - are hand-operated one-touch brake levers such as those found on some Baby Jogger, Chicco and other strollers.
Adjustable handle An adjustable handle can accommodate parents of different heights.
Stands folded Strollers that are self-standing when folded are convenient in restaurants or other tight spaces. It also makes storing at home easier.
Main stroller bought for walks and daily use. Works with maxi-cosi infant car seat with adapters really well to go from car to stroller. Front and rear facing for both car seat and infant seat. Needed additional sunshade for walks during the day living in southern CA when using the carseat. Wheels sustained daily walks for months. Folds extremely easily, don't think it's that bulky compared to most strollers. Very sturdy, liked that it had a metal frame as opposed to others which are all plastic.

Been using since my daughter was 5 months and is now almost 9 months. She loves it, she is so comfortable and so happy to see me as we walk. I also get a lot of compliments on it.
The one really big negative is that it is BULKY you need a car with a big trunk, even when folded it is big.
I also recommend the cover for it, makes it softer and warmer.
