Does your child own any of this tainted jewelry?

Four million of these “Groovy Grabber” bracelets were recalled because they contain high levels of lead.
Over the last few years, millions of pieces of lead-laden children's jewelry have been recalled by the Consumer Product Safety
Commission, with the number of recalls growing each year. Many of the recalled necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other baubles
were purchased in vending machines or in discount and dollar stores--places where recall notices are not generally found.
Lead is toxic to children and any recalled item should be taken away immediately. To help parents identify the tainted items,
we are featuring a photo gallery of all the pieces of children's jewelry recalled by the CPSC since the fall of 2003 (some
of which were sold much earlier) with information on where and when sold and with links to the original recall notices.
Parents who recognize any of the pieces of jewelry in the photo gallery, can click on the link to the CPSC recall notice to
see larger photos and to get contact information for the retail outlet or importer. In some cases, refunds are being offered.
