Comment:
This is a relatively new purchase, and we had to take our toddler's temperature a few times in a row to gauge the accuracy (which means it's not all that accurate, I suppose). I do like that it's color-coded, depending on the level of fever (green, yellow, or red). I wish I could rely on an accurate reading, however.

I don't like that the battery died within a month of purchase, and the batteries are unusually hard to find (they're CR1225, FYI). An internet search revealed that other purchasers had the same battery-drain problem. I had to order replacement batteries online.
How long have you owned it:
One-to-three months

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This thermometer beeps way before it should. I have found that if I hold it in my mouth it will often go up 1 degree before it shuts off. Unacceptable.
