Comment:
Having read the terrible reviews, I was hesitant to purchase, but found the thermometer for $15 on eBay and decided to try it based on the CR review. I have no idea what the problems others had, but my wife and I tested it multiple times when we got it and found it accurate within roughly one half of a degree. Perhaps there was a bad batch that others purchased, perhaps it simply works better on adults than children, but all I can say is we both like it and how fast and easy it is, and would recommend it to anyone.

How does every user here give this one or 2 stars and CU rates this as the best one? I don't get it and see no detail in their testing.

Comment:
We bought this thermometer thinking it would be easier and more accurate than much less expensive ones. It was very difficult to get a reading (took multiple swipes) and had poor repeatability as the measurement varied. The readings also didn't make sense, as it would say a high temperature when no fever was felt. Not recommended.
How long have you owned it:
Three-to-six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
