2016 Ford Explorer Pricing

Ford Explorer Model Summary

For its 2016 model year freshening, Ford gave the Explorer new optional safety systems, a revised front and rear fascia, a new Platinum top trim level, and a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine borrowed from the Mustang but tuned for the Explorer. The 2.3-liter delivers 280 hp--40 more than the 2.0-liter it replaces. Also new are front and rear 180-degree cameras that have a wash function to keep the lens clean. Lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control are optional. The MyFordTouch system now includes redundant knobs and buttons for those folks who complained about unresponsive onscreen haptic touch controls.
