Cliff Weathers is a native of suburban Detroit. As a child, he'd often trespass into the General Motors Technical Center to
get early glimpses of upcoming models and concept vehicles. Cliff has written and edited for Detroit Monthly, Car and Driver,
AMI's Auto World, George, Car Stereo Review, and Playboy. Among the unusual cars that Cliff has owned were a 1978 Ford Fairmont
Canadian police-cruiser package with a 302 V8 and a 1988 Mazda 626 4ws (four-wheel steering) Turbo. He also raced the world's
only Ford Taurus SHO station wagon in the 1993 One Lap of America. A former U.S. Army Artillery Officer, Cliff's hobbies include
building and firing trebuchets, kayaking, and rooting for the Detroit Tigers.
