A New England native, Jeff Bartlett earned a bachelor's degree in English and communication before launching a fast-paced career in automotive journalism. Jeff has piloted vehicles as diverse as a Segway and an aircraft carrier, and he has driven about 1,000 cars in the past dozen years. He has shared his adventures and insights through words and photography for more than 30 national magazines and several premier Web sites, along with appearances on an alphabet soup of television outlets. With a decade of Web-site management to his credit, Jeff joined CR from dual posts as Motor Trend Online Editorial Director and IntelliChoice Editorial Director. Today, Jeff has an active role in shaping automotive content at ConsumerReports.org, including blogs, news, special reports, show coverage, and video.
